Powered by a 3.7-litre V6 TDI turbodiesel, it’s notable for a) the roof, and b) the front end – which has got enough LED lights to roast a turkey (well, it is nearly Christmas). We doubt driver Allan McNish will have much difficulty getting slower cars to move out of the way.

Presumably the R18 won’t still be painted Vader Black when it makes its competitive debut at the Spa-Francorchamps 6 hours in Belgium in May. But the flat-out evil look surely makes an impression. We know next to nothing about aerodynamics, but it’s clear there are some wild calculations are going on here.

2011 Audi R8 GT Revealed cars wallpapers and short reviews
The Audi R8 solidified its supercar status when it received a version of the 5.2-liter V-10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.
The R8 GT swaps in a thinner glass windshield and polycarbonate rear windows and replaces many aluminum body panels with carbon fiber. By going over every part of the R8, Audi's engineers have carved a total of 220 pounds off the standard R8's curb weight.

Audi R8 Spyder in Iron Man 2 cars wallpapers and previews
Audi has once again teamed up with the creators of the original blockbuster Iron Man marketing its R8 Spyder in the sequel as the personal car of billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).
Of course, Audi is trying to make the best of its participation in the movie releasing a dedicated commercial as well as photos seen below from the world premiere of Iron Man 2, which took place on Monday in Los Angeles.

Audi will have its own stand at the GTI meet at the Wörthersee Tour 2010 and will display a lineup of customized versions of the new Audi A1 hatchback.
The seven models have been created by Woorthersee chief designer and his team to demonstrate the ability to customize the A1 and all possible alternatives before it’s released this fall. One of the most striking designs is the FC Bayern

2011 Audi Sports Car RS5 cars wallpapers and short reviews
The 2011 Audi RS5 made its world debut last month at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and come complete with an uprated version of the 4.2-liter FSI V-8 from the RS4.
The latest iteration of the sweet engine delivers 450 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and, between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm, transmits a maximum of 317.15 pound-feet of torque.
The 2011 Audi RS5 made its world debut last month at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and come complete with an uprated version of the 4.2-liter FSI V-8 from the RS4.
