Cool steering wheel (it says Studebaker on the center button), cool shifter knob, nice grill under the gauges... this is a well thought out and finished look!

What a cool custom, I've never seen anyone make a steering wheel out of a rim! Great key, and, have you ever seen a B&M shifter on a firewall?

the red pegasus was the trademark of Exxon Mobil from 1933 to 54.. these headlight eyebrow indicators are the first I've seen

written on the side of the car in the center of the steering wheel... "Hot Rod"

The Veda Special knock offs? I've never seent hem before, but I speculate that they are from the Orr husband and wife Speed Shop, though a thread on the HAMB talks about Briz Bumpers and Orosco making repops. Veda set the Full Fendered Roadster record at 104.40 mph and later upped that to 114.24 in 1937. She ran 131-plus mph at the wheel of the Taylor-Blair modified and became the first woman to race in the SCTA.

Veda published the SCTA News, and later started her own newsletter as a means of communicating with other racers; however, it wasn't long after its inception that WWII began and many of the racers found themselves in the military and on their way overseas. To keep spirits up, Veda distributed her publication to more than 750 service men all around the world for free and personally corresponded with hundreds as well.

Notice in the below photo an STP sticker on the front vent cap

I don't remember seeing any tachs that actuallu spell out RPM into words before this one

Old decals, gotta love them

Multi colored engine bay, red, yellow, orange and black... quite the variety

With or without front bumpers... I like the look of the without

On the outside of the glove box is the single word, Vanity, and once the door is opened, the "Vanity" is ready for use, because they hadn't yet invented the mirrors on the top of the visors

I don't know what the letters stand for, I can only speculate... the pink color is just reflected from the full sunlight bouncing off the red interior onto the chrome

Such simply stated guages and radio face, how far they've changed since then. Now there are 3 FM selections, AM, XM, Sirius, CD, Mp3, blue tooth, and navigation. I like the look of the old ones a lot more.

Just 1 through 10 on the speedometer, no MPH and KPH nonsense, no numbers on the clock, no amounts to the ammeter or fuel gauges, just the ends of the scale. Cool.
